Your personal tour guide, Chef Alain Hauswirth, combines his four great passions - cooking, wine, travel and people - to provide bespoke, breathtaking and immersive travel experiences.

Why Food & Wine Journeys?

Exclusive, intimate and authentic.

Food and Wine Journeys’ explore hidden gems from the culinary and wine sectors in select European and New Zealand locations. Step off the beaten track to discover small towns, quiet lanes, family wineries, bountiful markets and mountain villages. Meet the locals, taste the history and cook wonderful food together.

Confidently explore new countries with your multilingual host. Chef Alain is fluent in Swiss, German and French with basic Italian also.

Restaurant and accommodation bookings are arranged in advance, embracing boutique, ‘local’s pick’ and innovative venues. Internal travel is by van, always a new and well-appointed model.

Food & Wine Journeys is purposely designed for small groups (6 to 8 people) wishing to balance a curated itinerary with independent free time.
